Pretty Flowers!

My three most recent cards feature new floral sets from Stampin' Up!  After all, it IS spring!  :)

I used a new stamp set from the Occasions Mini, Bordering on Romance, to create this first card.  First I cut out the scalloped oval in a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock using the Punch Windows Movers & Shapers magnetic die, then surrounded it with blossoms which I colored using pearlescent chalks.  I finished off the front with a bit of Blushing Bride pleated ribbon (which is to-die-for!).  The card looks a little flat here, but in real life it shimmers!

The next card I created with the Bright Blossoms set which will be in the NEW catalog to be released June 1st.  After stamping the Lucky Limeade card base with an Aida background stamp, I layered the tulip-filled vase on a Daffodil Delight doily which I made using the new Large Sizzlit aptly named Paper Doily.  A few doodles to create a frame around the central image, a bit of 1/2" stitched poly ribbon layered under a greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and the card was done!  Inside (not pictured) is simply another length of the poly ribbon.

The last card I'm showing off today is also made with the Bright Blossoms set, and is my favorite of the three.  I stamped the flowers on SU!'s Shimmery White cardstock, then layered them in circles on Pale Plum cardstock.  Also used is a bit of Rich Razzleberry patterned paper from the Summer Smooches DSP pack; some 5/8" organza ribbon, and some basic pearls.  The sentiment on the inside is non-SU!, but almost any sentiment would work.

I've got a quiet weekend ahead of me, so I hope to have more pictures to show you on Monday!

Happy Stamping!
