Payback

Back in April, I asked my friends in North Carolina, Fonda and Katie, to "fix" a card that I was having problems with. I had smeared some doodles, and Fonda came to my rescue using Spider Writers to add more color and doodles. The resulting card is "tray kewl." (Check out my entries for April 13 and 22 if you want to see how this card got transformed.)

Well, in the spirit of payback, they sent me a card of theirs that needed some help. It's been sitting on my desk a couple of weeks while I've been mulling over some ideas, and today I took the plunge and just did it. Below are before and after pics.

The "fix" was pretty simple. I stamped and embossed with detail silver a small forest of trees using Hero Arts' Creative Trees set. The "Life Laugh Love" is also from Hero Arts and embossed with the same powder. I added a clear gemstone to the "sun" circle, and then did some paper piercing. Voila! It'll be interesting to see how they like it.
